Child rate policy
Child under 2 years sharing a room with 1-2 adults is accommodated on a complimentary basis, Child 2 to 12 years of age sharing a room with 2 adults is charged 50% of the per person adult rate.
Please note Park fees not included in the rates and are payable at the gate if arriving on road and at the lodge if arriving by air.

Facilities at Tawi Lodge include a reception, bars, dining area, library, souvenir shop filled with Maasai art, a unique bio-pool and a relaxing massage area with hot bath and also an a cellar with a selection of fine wines.
Each cottage at Tawi Lodge has its own wooden-deck veranda. They all have a fabulous view of the highest mountain in Africa, even from the comfort of your bed or your bathtub.
Double or twin cottages, all have en suite bathrooms fitted with both a bath and shower. Each cottage has its own fireplace. Lighting and watersystems are solar powered..
Tawi Lodge has 4 different lounges with deep comfortable sofas, safari chairs, recliners serviced by 2 bars for a drink, a read, relaxing… by the fire place or the wildlife water hole.
You can also choose the “bush lounge” for a magical sundowner drink and bitings. This one is situated on a different spot everyday with view on the Kilimanjaro, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush, birds and the wildlife.
European influenced chefs at Tawi Lodge use some of the fresh organically grown produce at the lodge and the local community’s products to offer you a blend of African-Swahili and European gourmet 3 course lunches and 4 course dinners.
Breakfast or dinners in the bush are also unforgettable experiences you should try. Tawi Lodge can cater to special diets or requirements if you wish. Regular food & wine paring events are taking place and the traditional African dinner in the “boma” with barbecue.
